I build scalable, secure, cloud-native systems with Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD. KubeView is where I put those ideas to work in a local-first product.

KubeView is a new Kubernetes desktop IDE with a simple bet: the fastest, safest tool is the one that shows you the cluster directly, without asking you to trust another service.
Kubernetes tooling has a split personality. The command line is fast but opaque. Dashboard products are approachable but often pull credentials into another service and ask you to install something inside the cluster.
KubeView takes the local-first path. A small native host, a Go engine on your machine, and a direct connection to the API server. The UI never sees a token. The cluster never runs an agent.
The goal is not to hide Kubernetes. It is to make the state legible, the operations deliberate, and the path from symptom to root cause short.
They shape the architecture, the interface, and the decisions that do not ship.
Your kubeconfig, credentials, and cluster traffic stay on your workstation. No account is required to use the product.
Nothing is installed in the cluster. KubeView is a client, not another workload to operate.
Dense, calm surfaces that answer what changed, where, and why. Every pixel should help an operator decide.
The roadmap, architecture, and security model are documented. The project is source-available under BSL 1.1.
KubeView is three tiers with one rule: credentials stop at the engine.

Auth resolution, informers, watches, logs, exec, and resource operations.
The desktop shell, Go engine, live dashboard, resource browser, YAML operations, and troubleshooting workbench are shipped. The next milestones add topology, Prometheus metrics, networking, storage, and Helm.

Bring your kubeconfig. KubeView handles discovery, auth, live watches, and the troubleshooting workbench, all on your machine.
